A poem with a nice twist
It’s not every day that we receive a well-written description of a poem. At least, one that is longer than the information about the poetess or poet who wrote the poem. Ojasvi Nakra sends us her first poem on Instagram.

It’s not every day that we receive a well-written description of a poem. At least, one that is longer than the information about the poetess or poet who wrote the poem. Ojasvi Nakra sends us her first poem on Instagram. Since the poem doesn’t have a title, we decided to use the title A poem with a nice twist, because of the last stanza of this poem.

She lives in Delhi (India) and is a Medicine Student. She likes to write and shares her work on Instagram.

There is more to this poem than you might think. According to Ojasvi, this one is about a girl who is going through a rough period in her life. It is all about what she must do to overcome the difficulties in life. When she walks in the street, she feels the sunlight covering her. As she notices, the sunbeams are getting more lighter. Sadly, she falls down and she decided to give up. The realisation comes, that she has already given up.

The poetess tells us basically, that change can come from within. Just as you are about to (maybe) give up, there is an answer or a solution. This defines the poem, not as just any other “sad” poem, but one with a nice twist at the end.

The sun shone brighter,
Her endurance turned lighter;
She decided to fall down.
Yet she was already drowned!

It seemed like an intuition,
She came across a solution!
So, her soul did her a favour;
And turned to be her saviour..
