As long as I breathe you'll be remembered

As long as I breathe you'll be remembered

When writing poetry, this doesn’t always have to be a poem with more than one stanza. This love poem, written by Daisy Boruah is such a poem.

About the poem

Love is a magical and wonderful feeling. It inspires many. The poem that was written by Daisy is about how she feels dedicated to her loved ones, her soul mate, friends: people who certainly changed her life.

In my heart they all hold a place, that no one could ever fill. Even if we are miles apart, they’re always in my heart, in my thoughts and in my words. I’ll always cherish our happy moments and memories and turn it into poetry. I keep in my heart the love of the past, for there it was planted forever to last.

The poem that Daisy wrote is not only beautiful in it’s simplicity (that isn’t a negative usage of this word), so is her explanation about this work of her. If you want to see and read more of her work, visit her Instagram profile.

As long as I breathe you'll be remembered

As long as you breathe you’ll be remembered

I buried you in my heart
where my poetry grows,
now even the world
can taste you,
through my words
