Carte Blanche

By Nivedhitha Gopala

She seemed to be all alone
Even though they believed she shone
She was an adamant teenager
Whose cries never seemed so major
She painted the canvas colorful
And the unseen worked looked so beautiful
She was never so happy
Because the world she knew was flappy
Her only love was to explore
The adventures that the world wore
The world never knew who she really was
As it alone was the real cause
Abandonment was what she was left with
While she abided by everything she had to.
Ablutions were for her heart and soul
Abnegation was all she did in the whole
Abundant was her crave for freedom
Accentuate was her want for wisdom.
Her heart was yet roomy
But she was still gloomy
Yet, she envisaged the ongoing mile
With the same old smile.
