There seems to be a lot of confusion about the work of The Ministry of Poetic Affairs. We will try to explain what we do, exactly and what we are not.
The clock struck twelve in our part of the world. Maybe we are running behind on your schedule or maybe we are ahead on your timetable. That doesn’t matter, right? The Ministry of Poetic Affairs wishes everyone a Happy New Year. A year of prosperity, love, freedom and all things positive! And also a year filled with inspiration to write poetry!
It is time to say goodbye to 2017! This was the first full year we had the privilege to publish so many beautiful poetry on our website. Poetry that was submitted to us or that we decided to analyse more. It’s time to look back on 2017!
What a year it has been! As editors of an online poetry magazine, we receive many forms of feedback. Some of them are very nice to read, others are insulting … and then there is a different category: messages that we are not sure what to do with. Just like many other websites, it is time to share some interesting conversations in 2017.
We are proud to announce, that Vivek Singh has joined our editorial team on a freelance basis. Vivek is not only a poet, he also writes about poetry. So, we found it time for an introduction of this Indian writer.
The Poetry Challenge about fear has come to an end! We are pleased to see so many poets taking the time to write about fear and submitting their work to us! This was our challenge about fear. We loved doing this and we will be doing this more often!
