About the poetess and her poem

Nanotist publishes her work on her own website (WordPress). She is from Great-Brittan and we are fans of her work!

This is what she had to say about her poem:

“It was inspired by a plane flying overhead. Behind the clouds, so I could not see it. I just heard it and then my poem, evolved into a war poem. “

Hear

Hear

I hear it there.
Oh where? Oh where?
Over there. Over there.
Oh where? Oh where?

Oh no, I hear it too.
Is it true? Is it true?
Oh yes, I hear it too.
It is true. It is true.

Oh no, I hear it near.
Is it here? Is it here?
Oh yes, it is near.
Is it hear? Is it here?

Oh no, I hear it fall.
Filled with fear. Filled with fear.
Oh no, it did fall.
No more fear. No more fear.

Silence. It has killed us all.
Silence. No one here can call.
Silence. It has killed us all.
Silence. No one hears at all.
