How can I get my work promoted?

How can I get my work promoted?

With the reboot of The Ministry of Poetic Affairs, it’s again possible to have your work featured on the website. Some things have changed over the years. In this article, you will find the answer to the question “How can I get my work promoted?”

What has changed?

Between 2016 and 2018, the website showed information about getting your work promoted. There weren’t that many things to think about. This lead to a lot of articles that you can hardly call promotional. In the end, it turned out that many of those who asked to be promoted were just out for something quick. For instance, a promotion via Instagram.

When it was time to think about the new version of The Ministry of Poetic Affairs, this was a good moment to reconsider the promotional services. In the first concept of the website, the free promotion was cancelled. Don’t worry, it’s not.

The difference now (2020) is that you cannot submit your work using Direct Messages on social media. This is because it needs to be clear enough what information is needed to write a quality article.

Don’t you want a well-written article about you and your work? Or is it just a quick promotion via Instagram? Is the last option the one you want to go for, then skip The Ministry of Poetic Affairs as your promotional channel.

New services

With a new website come new types of services. Yes, many of these services are paid services. However, you will notice that the prices are reasonable.

Why pay for something, when you can have it for free? Well, easy: this project uses a website, a server, some effort made by the owner… Except for the last part: these things cost money. No, you’re not paying to support the owner. The money that you pay for the services is used to pay for things such as the website, the server and more important things. Not for the new sports car of the owner by the way…
