If I'd have touched you

If I'd have touched you

Dawn Montanez wrote a poem called If I’d have touched you. This is a poem about the fragility to touch something beautiful.

About the poet

Dawn holds a new record! She isn’t aware of this, but she does. She is the youngest poet so far that is promoted by us. She tells the following about herself:

I am an aspiring poet. I started writing poems when I was 13 and now I am turning 15 in a few days and hoping that my works could be noticed.

Well Dawn, if you keep on writing words like this, you will definately get noticed!

About the poem

I’ve written this tercet poem with relating to a flower’s beauty that is enchanting but if I would touch it she would die.

If I’d have touched you

If I'd have touched you

By Dawn Montanez

if I’d have touched you

would you feel the strong desires

that are in the palm of my hands

if I’d have touched you

would you never run dry

nor run away from me

if I’d have touched you

would you know how your beauty

have enchanted me

if I’d have touched you

would you know how terrifying is it

to keep close with you

if I’d have touched you

you would have died

so I looked at your beauty, from the outside
