The poem Sorry by Audi Odane is beautiful and powerful in its simplicity. Sometimes not a lot of words are necessary to get your message across.

About the poem

It is a play on words. The harp represents the heart, being strummed or played along. And pagne is a shortened version of champagne, where the representation is pain as the antagonist of your pain, I fill your glass to toast.

“Of all the harps I played –
I strummed your heart the most”
“Of all the pagne you drink –
I filled your glass to toast”
