“Well atleast I can say I have her Venus” is the title of the poem that Audi Odane wrote. He used an image made by Dániel Taylor (with permission of the artist). This is his poem about her wanting some space. He gave her the galaxy in return.
About the poet and the artist
Audi is originally Jamaican, but lives in the United Kingdom. He publishes his work on Instagram and Facebook. We asked him to consult the artist that made the image, Dániel Taylor, if it was fine to publish this image on our website and the social media channels we use. This was no problem. As long as we mention that this artist publishes his work on Instagram too. He also uses Etsy to sell his work.
About the poem
Have you ever experienced the moment, when a lover told you that he or she needed some space? To work things out. In the words of Audi:
Ever been told by a woman she wants space? Sometimes you have to heed those words and make her eat them by giving her the galaxy.
“Well atleast I can say I have her Venus”
She said she wanted
So I gave her the galaxy.
